The combat itself initially feels clunky when compared to other fighting games, but as you get used to it, you learn to appreciate the weight of the blows, and the more tactical pace of things. You start out with limited equipment and abilities, but as you win and earn money, you can outfit your fighters with better gear and tackle more dangerous foes.
